🐺 Morning Arrival Safety Reminder
Please help us keep everyone safe during morning arrival!
🚗 If you are arriving by car, please use the drop-off line. Do NOT park and walk across traffic to walk your child into the building.
⚠️ Cars pulling away from the drop-off line are watching for other vehicles—they are NOT expecting pedestrians or students crossing between cars. This creates a serious safety risk, and we do not want anyone getting hit by a car.
The drop-off line takes 3 minutes or less! If you choose not to wait in the drop-off line, please drop your student off at the manned crosswalk at Pierce and Huffman, where we can safely help them cross and avoid traffic.

West View Reminder: Friday Rewards Attendance Policy
Please remember that tardies and early pick-ups count as ½ day absence toward your student’s 10 allowed absence days.
Each student begins the school year with 10 days available for absences. Once those 10 days have been used, students will not be eligible to participate in Friday Rewards during weeks when they are absent.
We encourage families to save these days for when they are truly needed and to make every effort to arrive on time and remain at school for the full day. Every day at school matters, and we want all of our Wolves to have the opportunity to participate in Friday Rewards!

Enroll your student in our BackPack Buddies program, sponsored by the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Your student will receive a bag of free food every week to take home for the weekend. Bags will be sent home on Thursday or Friday and should be returned to school on Monday so they can be refilled for the following week.

The first day of school is about 8 weeks away for the 26-27 school year. Here is our academic calendar as well as our start & dismissal times so that you can prepare and plan ahead.
